Surfing, paddleboarding, beach volleyball: which swimsuit really stays on during sports?

A swimsuit can look sublime on the towel and be catastrophic in the waves. If your summer is more like a surfing session in Hossegor than a nap in the sun, here's how to choose.

Rule #1: Support comes from the cut

For sports, forget about string bikinis. The ARCA bralette was designed exactly for this: a wide underbust band, stable straps, zero readjustment between two waves. It's the top our sporty customers repurchase in a second color.

Bottoms: high-waisted always wins

The high-waisted SOORTS Brazilian bikini bottom—named after Soorts-Hossegor, a surfing mecca—stays in place during a duck dive as well as a smash. The high waist provides coverage, while the Brazilian cut frees the legs. For maximum comfort, the BISCA bikini bottom is the full-coverage option that won't budge an inch.

The fabric does half the work

Our swimsuits are made from an Italian fabric that is 80% polyamide / 20% elastane: the elastane provides elastic recovery (the swimsuit returns to its shape instead of stretching out), and the density of the weave resists chlorine from the pool, salt, and board friction. Integrated UV protection is a bonus.

The reversible bonus

After your session, turn the swimsuit inside out: dry side... and a new look for lunch. Two colors, zero extra bag.
