Where does the name PINUA come from?
Pinua means "pine" in Basque, a tribute to the pine trees lining the French Atlantic coast. The logo features a cherry, a nod to the famous Itxassou cherry grown in the Basque Country.

Responsible fashion
PINUA swimsuits are made in Portugal, with Italian fabrics certified OEKO-TEX Standard 100. By producing in Europe, the brand supports local craftsmanship while reducing its carbon footprint.
The jewellery details on the Arca and Pyla styles are made in Spain. And true to PINUA's values, our packaging combines beauty and sustainability.

Falling for Australia
In October 2025, I landed in Byron Bay, Australia. What was meant to be a short break turned into love at first sight: the light, the ocean and the energy of this coast swept me away. It's here, between two waves, that I started imagining the second PINUA collection, new pieces inspired by this unique beach lifestyle. Today, PINUA grows between two continents, between the Arcachon Bay and the beaches of Australia's east coast.

This is when I started designing PINUA, attending trade fairs to meet specialised factories, and laying the foundations of my project.
PINUA is born
August 2024
PINUA was born in the summer of 2024. That's when I designed the first reversible swimsuits with our partner factory in Portugal.
The PINUA launch
April 2025
PINUA officially launched on 19 April 2025, the start of an inspiring adventure. With reversible swimsuits made in Europe, combining style and sustainability, I brought my vision to life: elegant, responsible fashion that reflects my values.
PINUA GROWS
SUMMER 2026
In 2026, PINUA expands across France and beyond: partner stockists, consignment stores and pop-up stores in Saint-Martin, Andernos-les-Bains, Arcachon, at Printemps Paris and on Réunion Island. A new milestone that strengthens the brand's roots, from the Arcachon Bay to a national presence.
PINUA lands in Australia
PINUA in Byron Bay
Since September 2026, PINUA swimwear is available in Australia, straight from Byron Bay. Thanks to local stock, Australian customers enjoy faster delivery and can even try the collections in person. A new step that roots PINUA between two continents, from the Arcachon Bay to the Australian coast.
