The perfect beach bag checklist
We all know that feeling: arriving on the sand, towel unfolded… and sunscreen forgotten on the kitchen table. Here's the ultimate checklist, tested and approved between Hossegor and Saint-Jean-de-Luz.
The Non-Negotiables
SPF 50 sunscreen — reapply every 2 hours. Good to know: our swimwear fabric is resistant to sun creams and oils, no need to choose between protection and color.
A spare swimsuit — or not: with a reversible swimsuit, flip it over for a new look, even when wet → quick-drying.
Water — 1.5 L minimum per person. Always on top of the bag.
Towel or fouta — a fouta dries faster and takes up half the space.
The Smart Choices
A waterproof pouch for phone and keys — sand gets everywhere.
A hat or cap — bucket hat trend approved.
A mesh bag for the wet swimsuit on the way back: it keeps the sand out and allows moisture to evaporate.
An oversized t-shirt to throw over — our Uhaina Family organic cotton t-shirt does exactly that (and it's −40% off right now).
What to Leave at Home
Loud speakers (your towel neighbors will thank you), the book you won't read past page 12, and the second bag of chips.
The Express Recap
